From historic Rye to Bodiam Castle, the River Rother is one of the finest rural rivers in England and has been navigated for centuries.  The river flows peacefully through the High Weald to the magnificent 14th Centruy Bodiam Castle.

Climb aboard and take one of 24 seats on ex-Royal Navy Lifeboat, the M.V.Dannie Lee, taking cover under the canopy in wet or very hot conditions.  Enjoy a cruise along the 3.8 mile stretch of the river between Newenden and NT Bodiam Castle with an optional stop off at either end.  Nature lovers will enjoy this leisurely cruise, with it’s abundance of flora and fauna;  and if you’re lucky, you will spot one of the members of the a resident family of Kingfishers.
